MB ChB Manch 1912.

Thomas Whittle Martin was born in 1889, the son of William Young Martin (see below). He received his medical education at the University of Manchester and was house surgeon at MRI and Barnes Convalescent Home, Cheadle. He joined the RAMC in 1914 and served as a captain on the western front. Martin was killed near Arras on 9 April 1917. [see University of Manchester Roll of Service].
