Nall was educated at Cambridge University, and at London and Manchester. He tool the MRCS in 1887 and the LSA in 1888. He was a former junior RMO at Barnes Convalescent Hospital, Cheadle and a house surgeon at MRI, and later practised in Whaley Bridge, Cheshire.
