Henry Langdale, known as John, studied medicine at Owens College Manchester, he was house surgeon at MRI, Oldham Infirmary and Warrington Infirmary before settling in general practice in Warrington where he was later appointed honorary physician to Warrington Infirmary. Langdale practised in Warrington for nearly fifty years, and was widely respected in the area. He was also medical visitor to the mental homes of the area. Langdale died in Warrington on 27 July 1941, aged 74 years.
