Francis McHugh and his brother Louis were in practice in Alexandra Road, Moss Side in the mid-twentieth century. This file probably refers to Francis Assissium McHugh (qualified Dublin 1918) and Louis Joseph Edward McHugh (qualified Ireland 1912). However, by the 1960s, Francis Joseph McHugh (qualified Dublin 1950, later medical officer to Manchester United Football Club) and Sheilagh Margaret McHugh (qualified Dublin 1949) were also at the same practice.
