SCC writes concerning the sale of Chiswick and his own finances. He writes that his own financial position is "not bad" and believes the stud to be worth over £20,000 if it was to be sold. He writes that as he does not wish to sell the stud he wants about £10,000 from the bank to "put me straight". He further writes concerning Compton Place, that he does not yet know how much it will come to before it is finished. He finally writes that he hears that Sir W Grey has agreed to stand. Sent from: Wretham Hall, Thetford.
