Northbrook writes to SCC regarding his visit to Scotland. He writes that SCC was correct to not discuss Indian affairs there and the Cabinet will keep Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield in check. There is an endorsement, written in red ink, which reads, "Lord Nothbrook 20 Nov 1877, a visit to Scotland." Sent from: Budbrook[e], date stamped, 20 Nov.
