Wolseley writes to SCC regarding the Sudanese campaign. He writes that he told General Charles Gordon that British troops would not be sent to Suakin so it will not occur to Gordon that this opinion could change. He advises that SCC should write to Gordon informing him that he can act in Suakin if he sees fit. Sent from: London, date stamped, 10 Feb.
