Lord Cavendish writes of his health and confirms that he is much improved. He further writes that he is "deeply interested" in what is going on in politics and believes Gladstone must before long lose his hold on the country. He also writes that he has heard from Fell and Currey concerning Barrow and also writes that he hoped the railway returns would improve. Sent from: Cannes, France.
