Scope and Content

Lord Powerscourt writes concerning Irish Questions and encloses a letter from Sir Richard Martin. He writes that he has told Sir Richard he can see no objection to him seeing SCC privately. He writes concerning the National League and the "state of things going on in Ireland" to which the "law gives no protection". He further writes that there "ought to be a Bill brought in...against this boycotting". He finally writes concerning the "tyranny of the Land League". Sent from: 65 Brook Street, London.
