Wolseley writes regarding the Siege of Khartoum and the Sudanese campaign. He writes that he still prefers the Nile route to transport the troops to Khartoum and suggests that they should be en route by 20 October. The memorandum is printed for circulation in the Cabinet and there is a note attached to the second sheet detailing who has been sent a copy. No date stamped.
