He reports that he has visited Granville Leveson-Gower, 2nd Earl Granville who has gout. He writes that Catalia is well and he has not seen "Edith" but intends to visit her tonight. He reports that no annoucements have been made about the cabinet but Chichester Parkinson-Fortescue is to go to Ireland instead of Sir Robert Peele.
