Richard Grosvenor writes concerning the General Election. He writes that things are "certainly not looking well for us" and concerning the losses suffered in Buckinghamshire, Cumberland and the two Welsh boroughs of Denbigh and Montgomery. He further writes however that he is glad for certain losses in the Metropolis; notably Firth and Burrell. He finally writes that in his "private opinion" J.C [Joseph Chamberlain] has "done us more harm than anything". Sent from: 41&42 Parliament Street, London. Letter written on Liberal Central Association headed paper.
