Scope and Content

Lord Lansdowne writes concerning Ireland and the negotiations for compromise. He also writes that "the Brigg victory is most satisfactory" as it will "make the Irish members more insolent than ever". He finally writes that the Irish landlords are "hard at work on Morley's report" however he has not yet heard the result. Sent from: Bowood, Calne.
