Scope and Content

Drake writes to SCC regarding the North Lancashire election. He writes that a compromise will not be reached with the Conservatives and Sir James Kay-Shuttleworth will not withdraw his son. He writes that Shuttleworth is not as popular as they believed with the locals in Lancashire. He reports that he will get some more information on "Mitchell-Henry" abd "Milward" as second candidates.
