SCC writes to Lord Wodehouse regarding the Irish Militia. He advises that he discussed the issue with the previous Secretary of State for War, George Robinson, 3rd Earl de Grey and he will leave Lord Wodehouse to deal with the issue. SCC writes that Lord Wodehouse needs to write an official letter recommending the militia are not trained. The letter is written on War Office headed paper. Date stamped, 20 Feb.
