SCC writes that he would be obliged if the Lord Chancellor [Lord Selborne] would look at the enclosed papers relating to the Patriotic Fund Commissioners. He writes that he would like his opinion whether the Commissioners have sufficiently met with the terms of the Act of Parliament and may now proceed to provide for the management of the school. He further writes as to Lord Selborne's opinion whether the Commissioners must again apply to the Charity Commissioners for a revised scheme. Finally, he writes asking if Lord Selborne would speak to Morley in the House of Lords about the matter as he knows the case. Sent from: London. Written on War Office letterheaded paper.
