Gladstone writes to SCC regarding Sir Garnet Wolseley. He writes that he cannot grant him a peerage until the Irish Land Bill is passed through Parliament. He writes that Wolseley may have settle for the "Gibraltar project" but that is no longer available and Prince George, Duke of Cambridge is not supportive of Wolseley.
