Scope and Content

Lord Cecil writes concerning the Tariff Reform controversy and the unlikelihood of any Free Trade Unionists being returned in the next Parliament. He also writes of the possibilities of joint action with the opposition party and asks for SCC's assistance in the matter. He further writes that he believes that "other M.P.s such as Arthur Elliot, Dickson, F. Lambton and Austin Taylor" would "concur with what I have said". Sent from: Canford Manor, Wimborne.
