Scope and Content

O'Shea writes to Churchill regarding his interview with SCC. He writes that SCC denied using the words "vile", "calumnious" and "lying" in the context of Vanity Fair to refer to Churchill when he spoke in the House of Commons. He writes that he considered the matter resolved so did not hand SCC the letter that Churchill provided. This letter is an enclosure to CS8/1106. Sent from: London, date stamped, 26 May.
