SCC writes to his sister describing his arrival at Cambridge. He has taken an exam and settled into his rooms. He reports that he has not met any of the other undergraduates yet but they should arrive tomorrow. SCC writes that "it is highly disgusting, being a nobleman, as I have to sit at dinner or hall quite away from other undergraduates". He also describes the "bores" of having to attend multiple dinners but that will stop soon. He informs his sister that "Freddy" has to be reexamined.
