SCC writes returning "Lady G's" letter [Lady Granville?]. He also writes that Mr Currey ought to have all the arrangements in place shortly regarding the Will. He also writes that he recently had the Prince of Wales and "some people" to Compton Place and writes of his regret of upsetting the feelings of "Emma" [Lady Edward Cavendish] and "Lucy". He further writes that he admits that it would have been better if he had said the visit was impossible [this is possibly referring to the Prince of Wales and the Baccarat case]. Sent from: London. Letter written on House of Commons Library letterheaded paper.
