Correspondence between Alec Molloy, map printer, and W.P. Crozier, relating to a request by Molloy for an increase in salary, which is accepted, and discussion of the temporary nature of his employment at the Manchester Guardian during the [Second World] War, despite having previously been given notice at the outbreak of the war. Also included is discussion of a further increase in salary, and a request by A.P. Wadsworth that Molloy alter his hours of work in order to ensure that the maps required for the following day are ready to be printed.
