Correspondence with the Theatre Royal Cinema, the Rusholme Theatre, and the Oxford Theatre relating to arrangements for press tickets for new productions for critics from the Manchester Guardian, with accompanying related internal memoranda.

There is a draft letter to [Sir John] Martin Harvey, [actor and theatre manager] relating to the inability to review a play owing to not having been invited or provided with press tickets.

Also included is discussion of the Palace Theatre's change in status from theatre of varieties to theatre, and reference to the inclusion of this distinction when the Palace Theatre is referred to in the Manchester Guardian.
