Correspondence with Donald Struan Robertson (1885-1961), classical scholar, relating to a request that Robertson as a correspondent on the University of Cambridge for the Manchester Guardian, which is accepted, with discussion of the requirements of the role, and accompanied by internal correspondence on payment for Robertson. There are enquiries by Scott relating to the workings of Sex Viri tribunal cases, and to moral censorship at the university, in the wake of the dismissal of John Burdon Sanderson Haldane, geneticist, and a request for an article from Robertson on the subject. There is also a request by Scott that Robertson provide descriptions to accompany photographs of new buildings at Clare and Kings colleges.
Also included is correspondence between Robertson and A.P. Wadsworth, relating to Robertson's resignation, and suggestion of Charles John Joseph [Jack] Hamson, jurist, as a successor, which is approved, with an expression of thanks for Robertson's years of work for the paper.
