Scope and Content

Correspondence between Frank Roscoe, educationist and W.P. Crozier, relating to a request by Roscoe for a meeting with Crozier to discuss potential employment for his daughter at the Manchester Guardian, with details of her previous experience at the Bolton Evening News, which is declined, owing to Crozier's ill health, but with the suggestion by A.P. Wadsworth that Roscoe might meet with him instead. Also included are letters of introduction for Roscoe from Robert F. Young and [John Lawrence] Hammond, historian and journalist.
