There is discussion of articles written by Arnold-Foster for the Manchester Guardian on the political situation in Europe, including compulsory arbitration agreements, disarmament, and other issues and difficulties faced the League of Nations, and with reference to Arnold-Foster's post as a civil servant as secretary to Lord [Robert] Cecil, [Viscount Cecil of Chelwood] and Lord [Charles Alfred Cripps, first Baron] Parmoor. There is a letter from Gerald Bailey, National Peace Council, relating to the provision of a report for circulation by Arnold-Foster on the disarmament conference in Geneva, and internal memoranda discussing Arnold-Foster's potential as a correspondent on the conference.
Also included is a letter from H[elena] M[aria] Swanwick, suffragist, relating to the recommendation of Arnold-Foster as a potential writer for Country Diary.
