Scope and Content

Correspondence with Sir Herbert Atkinson Barker (1869-1950), bone-setter, relating to a request for support of the reinstatement of Doctor F.W. Axham by the General Medical Council, with discussion of the Manchester Guardian's support for manipulative surgery, and the tactics and evidence of those opposed to the cause, with particular reference to Doctor Graham Little.

Also included is a request that Barker recommend an osteopath for Scott's grandson, who has sustained an injury to his knee.
