Correspondence with Josiah Clement Wedgwood, first Baron Wedgwood (1872-1943), politician, relating to an offer of a letter to the editor by Wedgwood on resistance and constitutional reform in India, which is declined, with discussion of the situation in India. Also included is an open letter of protest by Wedgwood on the trial and imprisonment of Fred Crowsley, Guy Bowman, and B.E. and C.E. Buck on a charge of incitement to mutiny. There is a request that Scott chair a meeting of the Land Values Campaign Committee, attended by Philip Snowden, politician, which is declined. There is an expression of thanks by Scott for a [complimentary] letter from Wedgwood on an article ['The Nightmare's End'] in the Manchester Guardian on concerns regarding disarmament and hopes for the outcome of the general election, 1929.
