Correspondence with Charles Henry Roberts (1865-1959), politician, relating to an offer of information on an experiment at a secondary school in which science is being taught in relation to the agriculture of the district, which is accepted.

Also included is correspondence relating to a letter to the editor by Roberts on the free list attached to the Import Duties Bill published in the Manchester Guardian, with discussion of the views of newspaper proprietors on the payment of a duty on foreign newsprint.
