Correspondence with Friedrich Wilhelm Foerster (1869-1966), writer, educationist and pacifist, relating to discussion of the coverage of the current climate in Germany in the Manchester Guardian, with concerns relating to disarmament, militarism in Germany, the impact of government's approach on the youth of Germany, and Foerster's feelings on the difference between the views of the German militarists, and the German population in general. Also included is Scott's opinion that to produce moral disarmament, Germany must be treated justly by the Allied powers, and that the charge of German militarism is viewed in England as relating to the German people as a whole.
