Correspondence between (Edgar Algernon) Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, Viscount Cecil of Chelwood (1864-1958), politician and peace campaigner, and C.P. Scott and W.P. Crozier, relating to a request that Cecil write a foreword for a Manchester Guardian [Commercial] supplement on Industrial Relations.

Also included is request for and discussion of a potential article by Cecil relating to a statement by [Herbert] Hoover, president, regarding maritime law, with reference to food ships, in relation to the League of Nations and peacekeeping, which is refused.
