Kenneth Arthur Evans, [1910?]-1969.

Evans was born and educated in Ireland, qualifying in 1934. He came to Rochdale, originally as locum for a friend, but stayed for thirty six years. Evans later became senior consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist to Rochdale Hospital Group. He was closely involved in the organisation of a new maternity unit at Birch Hill Hospital. Evans died on 4 April 1969, aged 59.
