Michael John Goodman, b.1944

Michael Goodman, the son of Aaron Isaac Goodman (see above), studied medicine at Oxford University and Westminster Hospital London. He took a D.Phil from Oxford University in 1975. He was a Wellcome research scholar at the Radcliffe Infirmary, Oxford, and an assistant professor of medicine (gastro-enterology) at the University of Chicago Hospitals. From 1977 he was a consultant physician and gastroenterologist for Bury AHA. Goodman has published a number of papers on gastroenterology, particularly inflammatory bowel disease.
