John Greenwood

MRCS 1839, LSA 1842.

Greenwood was a surgeon in Manchester and later in Salford. He was government emigration surgeon before being appointed honorary surgeon to the Manchester Night Asylum, Ancoats. In the 1845 Directory there is a John Greenwood MRCS 1839 and a John Horatio Greenwood LSA 1842, both practised in Manchester and it is not known which of these is referred to in the later directories.
