Administrative / Biographical History

MRCS Eng and LSA 1883; MB Lond 1884, MD 1885; BSc Vict 1904.

Bennett studied at Owens College where he was Bradley Surgical Scholar in 1883 and in Vienna. He held house positions at MRI and St Mary's Hospital Manchester before moving to Leicester. Here he was honorary assistant physician at Leicester Infirmary then honorary consultant in aural surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary. Bennett was a pioneer in aural surgery and was an active member of the Section of Laryngology at the Royal Society of Medicine.
