MB ChB Manch 1905; DPH Camb 1907.

Corbett was, along with Catherine Chisholme, the first woman doctor to qualify from the University of Manchester. She was on active service with the Scott Women's Unit in Serbia, Russia and Romania and was civil surgeon for County Middlesex War Hospital. Corbett was later school inspector for Lancashire County Council and had a practice in Burnley. She had retired by 1950. Catherine's mother was Sarah Woodhead of Hitchen College, Hertfordshire.
