Greg studied medicine at London School of Medicine for Women and the University of Manchester. She was surgical clinical assistant at MRI before being appointed orthopaedic house surgeon at Ancoats Hospital Manchester. Greg was later resident surgical officer at Biddulph Grange Orthopaedic Hospital, Lancashire. Greg was a member of Manchester Medical Society, the Medical Women's Federation, and an associate member of the British Orthopaedic Association.
