Administrative / Biographical History

MB CM Glasgow 1881, MD 1888.

Grange was born in Liverpool in 1959, of Scottish parentage. He studied medicine at the University of Glasgow and was house surgeon at Glasgow Western Infirmary before being appointed assistant surgeon at Cumnock Cottage Hospital. In 1888 Grange came to Manchester and built up a large general practice in Kersal. He was president of Manchester Clinical Society in 1912 and a member of Manchester Medical Society . Grange retired only months before his death on 21 November 1936.
