Administrative / Biographical History

Booth qualified LSA 1827, MRCS 1829, attended medical lectures in Manchester and a course in chemistry by John Dalton and also studied at St Thomas' Hospital London. and was a general practitioner based at Cooper St. Manchester. He was sometime surgeon to the Hulme Dispensary.

He was Bosdin Leech 's maternal great uncle. Many of his professional certificates etc. have been bound by Bosdin Leech in a volume with his own and those of Daniel John Leech.
