Andrew trained at the University of Manchester before taking house positions at Withington Hospital, Royal Halifax Infirmary and Crumpsall Hospital, Manchester. He was a GP in New Mills, Derbyshire. Andrew was married to Gaynor Llywd Glynne (see MMC/2/Glynne).
