Administrative / Biographical History

MD St Andrews 1857; Ext LRCP Lond 1857; MRCS Eng 1848; LSA 1848.

Alcock was probably a surgeon of Oakfield, Ashton-upon-Mersey. He was a member of the Royal Manchester Institution, Medical Section. Alcock was also a naturalist and was curator of the Museum of the Manchester Natural History Society.
