(height). Single-line border along lower edge. Text in kanji and katakana. Original dark blue covers, with gold painted design of flowering plants on back cover. No title slip; no gedai; no naidai. Edition: Printed dates end at Jōkyō period (1684-1688), hence date of publication is likely to be Jōkyō 5 (=Genroku 1), 1688. Contents: A list of era names, duration and number of years prior to Kanbun 12 (1672) of all Japanese nengō (year periods) from Eiryaku 1 永暦元年 (1160) to Jōkyō period (1684-88). Also included are the names of emperors, horoscope information in kanji, with readings in katakana, and a measuring scale in sun 寸 and bu 分 along the upper edge.
