Original front cover, dark brown verging on black, of maki 上 only, within western-style binding in half-leather. No title slip. No gedai. Title from naidai. Hashiragaki: Jō (ge) 上 (下) + folio no. Edition: Movable type edition, one of six editions of this work, produced from early Genna (shortly after the siege of Ōsaka castle) to Kan'ei period. Contents: A factual account of the siege of Ōsaka castle during two campaigns in winter 1614 and summer 1615, in which Tokugawa Ieyasu defeated Toyotomi Hideyori.
