Printing frame 17.5 x 13 cm. (average). Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana (katakana). 10 lines to page, 22-24 characters to line. Original mid-blue covers with original printed title slips. Gedai: 當□ (角書) 茶之湯評林大成. Title from mokurokudai and from naidai at head of each maki. Hashiragaki: Chanoyu hyōrin 茶湯評林 + maki no. + folio no. Edition: The only pre-modern edition. Contents: A critical guide to the tea ceremony and utensils to be used.
