An undated edition of the companion work Hōgen monogatari 保元物語 is in the BL collection (see Or.75.g.2) and is believed to belong to the same edition as this. Contents: A war tale (gunki monogatari) which, together with Hōgen monogatari (q. v.), tells of the struggles for imperial succession in the mid-12th century.
