      1 volume Condition: Fair. No worm damage, but folios soiled, stained and slightly mutilated at lower edge. Impression: Atozuri, from considerably worn blocks. Illustrations: A total of 12 single-page and 6 double-page sumizuri woodcuts, distributed as follows: (maki 上) 3 single, 2 double; (maki 中) 8 single, 2 double; (maki 下) 1 single, 2 double. Seals of ownership: Square red seal with thick borders, Watanabe zō toshoin 渡辺藏圖書印, on first and last pages of maki 上. Also a vase-shaped red stamp in a square frame on last pages of maki 上 and 下.

Variant title: Kanpaku juraku monogatari 關白聚樂物語. Author/compiler: Unknown. Imprint: N.p., n.d. [Keian 慶安 Kanbun 寛文 period, c. 1650-70 ?] . No colophon. Description: 3 kan, 3 satsu, in a chitsu case. (The 3 kan are designated 上, 中 and 下, but additionally numbered 1-4 on the hanshin: maki 上 part 1; maki 中 parts 2 and 3; maki 下 part 4.) (Maki 上) ff. 17; (中) ff. 11, 12; (下) ff. 14. 25.4 x 18.4 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 22.1 x 17.1 cm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana. 16 lines to page, 26-28 characters to line. Original mid-brown covers, rubbed in places, with original printed title slips. Gedai: E-iri (tsunogaki in a roundel) kanpaku juraku monogatari 繪入 (角書) 關白聚樂物語. Title from mokurokudai and naidai at head of text in maki 上. Hashiragaki: [part no., no title] + folio no. Edition: Undated. A movable type edition of Kan'ei period and seihan editions of Kan'ei 17 (1640), Kan'ei ? (undated) and Meireki 2 (1656) ar known. The present copy belongs to none of these, and may be of Meireki period or later. Contents: A kana-zōshi story dealing with events centred on the overthrow and suicide of the kanpaku Hidetsugu 秀次, written in or soon after Kan'ei 2, 1625.
