      5 volumes Condition: Fair. A much-used copy, water-stained throughout and with worm damage and ink scrawls in maki 4. Impression: Atozuri, from worn blocks. Illustrations: A total of 21 single-page sumizuri woodcuts, 5 in maki 1 and 4 each in maid 2-5. Seals of ownership: Oblong red seal, Shisei zō 只誠藏 (seal of Sekine Shisei 關根只誠), on first page of each maki. Smaller oblong red seal, Kōbundō 好文堂, on first and last pages of each maki.

Author/compiler: Uncertain,. Imprint: Edo, Nishimura Hanbē; Rakuyō [Kyōtol, Nagata Chōbē, Tenna 4, 1684. Kanki following end of text on fol. 18a of maki 5 reads: 天和四歳 / 子正月吉辰日 / 江戸神田新革屋町 / 西村半兵衛 / 洛陽錦小路新町西へ入町 / 永田長兵衛 / 梓行. Description: 5 kan, 5 satsu, in a box. (Maki 1) ff. 1 (序), 17; (2) ff. 15; (3) ff. 16; (4) ff. 16; (5) ff. 18. 22.4 x 15.3 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 17.4 x 12.7 cm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text with printed furigana. 10 lines to page, 22-24 characters to line. Renewed light blue covers, with renewed handwritten title slips on left. Gedai: 花の名殘. Title from naidai at head of each maki. Hashiragaki: 花名 + maki no. + folio no. Edition: First known edition, followed by another in Hōreki 10 (1760). Contents: A love story of ukiyo-zōshi type, similar in many respects to the kana-zōshi tales Yamaji no tsuyu 山路の露 and Ninin bikuni 二人比丘尼.
