Author/compiler: A corporate compilation, traditionally attributed to Hōjō Yasutoki 北條泰時, 1183-1242. Imprint: Rakuyō [Kyōto] , Tsurugaya Kyūbē, n.d. [Kan'ei period, 1624-44] . Mokki on fol. 80b reads: 洛陽四条坊門 ／ 敦賀屋久兵衛. Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu, rebound in western style. ff. 80. 27.4 x 18 cm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 19.8 x 16.9 cm. Single-line borders, with 'flower petal' fishtail design on hanshin. Kanbun text with printed kunten and kaeriten. 8 lines to page (large ji, main text) and 16 lines to page (small ji, commentary), 14 characters to line. Original chestnut-brown front cover, back cover lacking, within western style half-leather binding. Renewed title slip on left, handwritten in late-Edo period. Gedai: Jōei shikimoku 貞永式目. Naidai: Goseibai shikimoku 御成敗式目. Hashiragaki: Shikimoku chū 式目注 + folio no. Edition: Apparently the only pre-Meiji printed edition of this commentary (see Kokusho sōmokuroku 国書総目録, vol. 3, p. 472). Other undated copies quoted in Kokusho sōmokuroku 国書総目録 (e.g. in Naikaku Bunko, Tōyō Bunko (Iwasaki) and Tōhoku Daigaku) may well belong to the same Kan'ei edition. Contents: An annotated edition of Goseibai shikimoku, or Jōei shikimoku 貞永式目, text in larger type interspersed with commentary in smaller type. Name of commentator unknown.
