Illustrations: Small sumizuri vignettes of temple buildings and Buddhist statuary in upper part of each page from fol. 4a to 14b. Seals of ownership: None. Manuscript notes: Old shelfmark, Pr: Or: 144, and notes in two different hands on mikaeshi: (1) Temples, Idols etc of Japan; (2) Descriptio 33. / regnorum ad / occidentem / Japonice. Transcription of sub-title of book in Kaempfer's hand on title slip.

Author/compiler: Unknown. Imprint: [Kyōto ?] , Kiemon, Enpō 8, 1680. Kango on fol. [15a] reads: 右じゆん礼のゑんきせけんにおほしといへ共 ／ ところ [踊字 = ところ] あやまりおほきゆへ今又あら ／ ためいたしくわしくしるすもの也 ／ 延宝八年申九月吉日 喜右衛門. Description: 1 kan, 1 satsu, in a box. ff. 1 / 2, 3- [15a] . 123 x 91 mm. Fukurotoji. Blockprint. Printing frame 108 x 82 mm. Single-line borders. No fishtail design on hanshin. Hiragana-majiri text, with printed dakuten and some furigana. 12 lines to page, variable no. of characters to line. Original black covers with embossed design. Original title slip on left with printed gedai: 西國三十三番 (角書) 順礼緣記. Title from naidai on fol. 1 / 2a. Hashiragaki: Saikoku 西国 (on ff. 1 / 2-3) +folio no. Contents: A guide to the 33 places of Buddhist pilgrimage in western Japan.
