These letters from Rachel Cavendish's aunt (her father's sister) concern the health of various family members including hers and her uncle's. There is mention of the Doctor Lower and Mr Thornster and visiting each other. In the first letter Rachel is still unmarried and residing with her mother at Southampton House. The second letter concerns a visit from her aunt and also mentions Lord Bedford wishing to be remembered to Rachel (now Lady Cavendish) and that Mr Poole is coming to London the day before the trial.
